Micah and Luke - MISSION TRIP!

We just sent these two young men away with prayer, hugs, and a “We love you” to serve in Tepic, Mexico on a mission trip with their peers and adults in our church.
They spent the last nine months preparing, training, witnessing to people in our own city, and reading the Word and praying so their hearts and minds would be ready to minister to the people of Tepic.
We have them serve at home so they can serve abroad ... for the entire world needs to hear and understand the truth of the Gospel ... both next door and 5,000 miles away.
Pray for them if you will!
Our prayer as parents is that the Lord will challenge them, stretch them, mature them,
and show them how big He is and how small they are as they sacrifice comfort, sleep,
and their own desires to love others in a tangible way.
The need for kindness, grace, compassion, and love is endless …
and we pray our boys will be able to offer each one of these to the people they meet
and have opportunities to minister to in the days ahead.
Our house will not be the same without them, and my mother’s heart already misses them,
but the joy of knowing where they are and what they are doing is worth it. ❤

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
Romans 10:13-15
