His beauty - His Time.

He has made everything beautiful in its time.
Ecclesiastes 3:11

Lord, thank You for creating beauty everywhere.
It is not hard to find and it is easy to enjoy.
Teach us to appreciate beauty so we are quick to offer Praise to the One who made it.
And Lord, teach us how to see the beauty that lies deep within the seemingly unattractive.
Diamonds hide in rocks, pearls hide in plain-looking oysters, and flowers hide in the dirt until it is time to push through the soil and show their colors.
So too, with people.
A gentle, compassionate heart hides behind a larger-than-life and loud personality.
A theologian hides in a fidgeting junior high boy.
A prayer warrior hides in a leather-clad, tattooed, Harley-riding biker.
A medical genius hides in the stuttering, socially awkward college student.
A writer of profound biblical insight hides in the depression of the middle-aged pastor.
We cannot always see the beauty that lies within - but You see it, Lord!
And when You are ready, You let that beauty shine
because You make EVERYTHING beautiful -
in YOUR time.

To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.
