Are you in trouble? Then PRAY!

One of the things I like best about Scripture is that it has an answer for everything.
Every problem we have, every need, every trial, every fear, every struggle ... God has a solution.
Some solutions are simple while others require a little more study to find verses that apply to the situation, but either way - He always provides an answer!

During my reading through James 5, I came across this gem.

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. (NIV)
Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. (NASB)
Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. (KJV)

What a GREAT response to trials! If you are in trouble - PRAY ABOUT IT!
Problem ---> Solution!

He does not say, "Is anyone suffering? Go talk to a friend. Go shopping. Eat. Watch a movie."
He says, "PRAY!"

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. James 1

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. I Thessalonians 5

In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. Ephesians 6

Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2
